Figure #4 is conclusive! The FWC's 2 inch stretch mesh net resulted in 95%+ wasted bycatch, our minimum suggested size (3 inch stretch) net wastes less than 3%. The FWC supervised these tests and still refuse to admit their rule is harmful.

For years, the fishing community endured FWC lies to the court and public that the FWC's 2" net caught fish at a 95% marketable rate, when in fact the data proves that their nets have a 95% WASTE rate. Their own data has exposed their deception!
